Los Angeles Harbor and Whale Watching Cruises

Harbor Breeze Cruises has 45-minute narrated tours of Long Beach Harbor. See the Long Beach skyline, California sea lions, the famous Queen Mary ship, and large cargo ships. They also have whale watching cruises in Gray Whale season from December to mid-May, and Blue Whale season from June to December.

Captain Dave's Dolphin and Whale Safari will take you out to see hundreds of dolphins and maybe some whales, year-round. They have a high-tech catamaran with a unique underwater viewing pod. Departs from Dana Point.

Catalina Island Cruises

Catalina is a beautiful island 22 miles off the coast of southern California.

Catalina Express has many daily departures from Long Beach, San Pedro or Dana Point. They've been in business for more than 25 years. Their fleet of 8 ships includes 4 catamarans.

Catalina Tours operates a fast comfortable ferry from Newport Beach to Avalon on Catalina. It is the largest passenger carrying catamaran on the west coast. The trip takes 1 hour and 15 minutes.
